Help with finding the right care
Fortunately, last September I picked up the HWS-Magazine at the Health Food Store. I became aware of a very interesting article about two ladies, whose goal is supporting people in understanding "Dr.s speech" and finding the right Doctor who really listens to their patients and their health problems and needs.
In this time, I was desperate. I had a severe Liver-disease and there was no communication with my Family Dr. He said, that he couldn't help me! Hard to create my own Health Narrative" , my personal Health History.
After this they researched who could accept me and after two weeks they made it possible for me to have the first meeting with my new Family Dr. ! I am so pleased and happy to be treated now in a friendly atmosphere with professional care.

Personal Health Record key to better care
Lorraine, I wanted to send a thanks out to you today. We had a hospital visit a few weeks ago and the Health Narrative really helped. The communication book you included with the narrative turned out to be a life saver, it helped us to keep in touch with the various nurses as he was moved from department to department. The Health Narrative itself helped the nurses to fill out their various forms and definitely made us look more like a prepared and professional team. That in turn encouraged the doctors and nurses to treat us more professionally.
