For over three decades, Lorraine has enjoyed an extensive and rewarding healthcare career as a radiation therapist. Her career has seen her involved in a number of different roles, including direct clinical service, staff and student education, supervision and management. A life long learner, she completed a Masters degree in Science, specializing in Supportive and Palliative Care in 2013. This clinical and academic foundation provides a solid ground to assist her clients in navigating the healthcare system.
She is passionate about helping her clients have the best possible healthcare experience and achieves this through sharing knowledge, providing navigation, advocacy, support and education.
Lorraine is also a member of the teaching faculty in the Palliative Care International Certification program at Niagara College, and volunteers as the bereavement coordinator for Rose Cottage Visiting Volunteers in Grimsby.
